How Does It Work?
Our private nutritionist in London are ready and waiting to help you change your life, and make you feel at your best physically and mentally!
Before your initial consultation, you will be asked to fill out a pre-assessment questionnaire to find out more about your goals, health and medical history, and this will help your dietitian prepare for your initial consultation better.
At the time of your consultation, your personal nutritionist in London will review your eating habits and your lifestyle, and they will identify what needs to be modified for you to reach your health goals efficiently.
Your dietitian will calculate your metabolism and body nutrient needs and create a tailored meal guide to give you a structure to follow. This meal guide also takes into consideration your health condition and your food preference to make sure you can apply the changes efficiently.
At the end of your consultation, your personal dietitian will create a plan of action and suggest a number of follow-up consultations to make sure you are progressing well, that you are happy with your results. During those follow-up sessions, your nutrition expert in London will give you the right knowledge and tools to make sure you are reaching your goals in the most efficient and sustainable way possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should You Choose Online or In-person Consultation?
This will depend on a few factors, such as your goals, location and overall preference. Many of our clients choose to have an online consultation due to convenience of not needing to travel. However, an in-person consultation will allow you to meet your dietitian face to face, as well as having certain measurements taken, such as body fat and muscle mass, using a Bioelectrical impedance analysis machine.
How can a London dietitian help with weight loss?
Our dietitian in London can help you with weight loss by providing personalized, science-backed nutrition advice tailored to your lifestyle, health conditions, and goals. Rather than following fad diets, our registered dietitian will create a sustainable meal plan that supports healthy weight loss while ensuring you get the right nutrients. We can also help you develop better eating habits, manage portion sizes, and address emotional or medical factors affecting your weight. Whether you need support for weight management, metabolic health, or a specific diet plan, working with a qualified dietitian ensures you achieve long-term success in a healthy and balanced way.
Are Dietitian Services Fees Covered By Health Insurances?
A range of health insurances will cover a certain number of consultations with the dietitian. You will need to enquire with your specific health insurance to check. We regularly have clients who are covered by Bupa, Aviva or WPA. Not all of our dietitians are covered by health insurance, but you can contact us to find out more.
How Long Does It Typically Take to See Results?
This largely depends on the goals and the changes you are working on with your dietitian. Some clients will notice changes such as weight loss and fat loss within 1 week. Others will see a significant improvement in energy levels and mood in just a few weeks. Gut symptoms and gut health can be improved within 2-4 weeks. If you are looking for support with diabetes or cholesterol levels, or kidney health, these changes can often take at least 1-3 months to notice any significant differences.
Is Seeing A Dietitian Or A Nutritionist In London Worth It?
Working with a dietitian or nutritionist can help you better understand and change habits that are preventing you from reaching your health goals. It is worth seeing a specialist if you are struggling on your own, as well as ensuring that you are making changes in a sustainable and safe approach. We believe that you are investing in your health, which makes it 100% worth it!
Is a Private Dietitian Better Than A Nutritionist Or Nutritional Therapist?
A private dietitian will often have a higher level of qualification compared to that of a nutritionist or nutritional therapist. This is because dietitians are nutrition professionals that have a requirement to be governed and regulated by law, unlike the latter two. This means that to use the dietitian title, the person needs to be registered with a professional body called the Health & Care professions council (HCPC) and follow their code of ethics to adhere to the highest standard. To be eligible, dietitians must have completed a minimum of a bachelors’ degree (BSc Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics, or postgraduate study.
The title nutritionist is not protected, so anyone may call themselves a nutritionist, even someone without any sort of qualification! It is best to check that a nutritionist has a minimum of degree level knowledge.
A nutritional therapist again is not a protected title, and they may use complementary medicine to provide recommendations on dietary and lifestyle changes, to prevent health issues. However, complementary medicine is not yet recognised as a valid treatment in conventional medicine as they are not based on scientific evidence. There is no specific qualification that is required to be a nutritional therapist, though some degrees are available to study.
Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals who are trained to assess, diagnose and provide treatment regarding dietary and health problems within individuals, as well as providing specific advice tailored to certain health conditions.
