Caroline Holland

Registered Dietitian, MSc.

I’m Caroline, a Registered Dietitian and Health Coach.

I graduated from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen with a BSc Hons Nutrition and Dietetics degree. I have qualifications in Motivational Interviewing and Behaviour Change skills awarded by the Leeds Beckett University. I have trained to use the low FODMAP diet for IBS with the Monash University and have skills to use Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Intuitive Eating principles within my practice.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, keeping fit, yoga and being outdoors. It is my love of food and fitness, interest in the functioning of the human body and passion for helping others which lead to my choice in career.

I have experience in many areas of dietetics and have worked in the acute, clinic, community and cancer care settings in addition to virtual health via apps and telephone consultations. Currently, I am working in both the NHS (specialising in cancer, nutrition support and acute wards) and private sector (providing support for weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular and COPD).

I am passionate about providing a holistic approach to health and nutrition. A sustainable healthy lifestyle should be simple, enjoyable and flexible. I like to hear about your current lifestyle, behaviours and any barriers to change. This helps me to provide you with tailored and relevant knowledge, guidance and support. My aim is to empower you to make small changes to form healthy new sustainable habits and reach your goal all the while improving your health and wellbeing.

So whether your goal is weight management, improving gastrointestinal symptoms, quality of life or health markers such as HbA1c, cholesterol and blood pressure, I would love to support you within my scope of practice and skills set.

My main specialities are:

  1. Cancer
  2. Weight management (loss or gain)
  3. Chronic conditions eg: IBD/IBS, COPD, diabetes and cardiovascular.
