Ruby Davegun

Registered Paediatric Dietitian

Hi, I’m Ruby

I’m a London-based registered dietitian specialising in supporting children and young people with feeding difficulties, neurodivergence, and complex nutritional needs.

I work with families who may be feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, especially when feeding feels stressful or mealtimes don’t look the way you expected. My approach is neuro-affirming, compassionate, and practical, always meeting your child where they are, not where society says they “should” be.

I believe there is no single “right” way to eat, and that every child’s nutrition journey is unique. I focus on supporting growth, nourishment, safety, and wellbeing while respecting sensory preferences, routines, and your child’s individuality. Whether your child is eating very little, eating a limited range of foods, struggling with weight concerns, or receiving nutrition via a tube, I aim to create support that feels realistic, achievable, and free from judgement.

I’m also passionate about culturally inclusive care and making nutrition advice accessible and empowering for all families. I work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals, so you never feel like you’re navigating feeding challenges alone.

At Dietitian Fit & Co, my goal is to help families feel heard, supported, and confident, turning feeding from a source of stress into something that feels calmer and more manageable, one step at a time.

These episodes progressed to freezing in places where my limbs refused to obey the signals from my brain.Exercise was a struggle, and I began comfort eating, gaining weight which made the episodes worse. I knew what I was doing, but Parkinson's Apathy set in.A few months ago, I discovered Dietitian Fit and signed up for a three-month package. I admit that I struggled with the change of diet for the first week and almost gave up but the encouragement and support from Marizaan, my dietitian, got me through that initial barrier and kept me focused on reaching my goals. I have to admit that the results so far have exceeded my expectations, not only have I lost weight (8kg), my Parkinsons symptoms have also improved, and I haven’t had an episode for over a month, and I feel energised.I am near the end of my programme and am delighted with my progress, I couldn’t have done it without Marizaan’s guidance and encouragement. Thank you for giving me my life back.David Majorjs_loader
