Is This You?
Menopause and perimenopause can affect women very differently, but many of the challenges are shared. You might be experiencing:
- Unexplained weight gain or stubborn belly fat
- Low energy or constant fatigue
- Hot flushes or night sweats
- Mood changes, anxiety, or brain fog
- Digestive issues or bloating
- Poor sleep or waking frequently
- Changes in appetite or food cravings
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to just ‘put up with it’.

Perimenopause vs Menopause
What’s the difference between perimenopause and menopause?
Perimenopause
- Perimenopause is the transitional phase leading up to menopause, often starting in your 40s (sometimes earlier). Hormone levels fluctuate, which can trigger symptoms even while periods continue.
Menopause
- Menopause is reached when periods have stopped for 12 consecutive months.
How Nutrition Can Help During Menopause
Nutrition won’t “cure” menopause, but the right approach can support your body through hormonal change and improve quality of life. Dietetic support during menopause can help with:
Supporting hormone balance
Managing weight changes without restrictive dieting
Improving energy and reducing fatigue
Supporting gut health and digestion
Protecting bone and muscle health
Supporting heart health and blood sugar balance
Nutrition won’t “fix” everything overnight, but it can make a significant difference.
How We Support You
We take a calm, evidence-based approach focused on real life, not perfection.
Our menopause support includes:
- 1:1 consultations with a registered dietitian
- A personalised nutrition plan based on your symptoms, goals, and lifestyle
- Support with eating patterns, nutrients, and habits that actually fit your life
- Consideration of gut health, stress, sleep, and long-term health
- Optional testing where appropriate
We work with your body, not against it.
What we don’t do
We believe menopause support should feel supportive, not punishing.
- No extreme diets
- No cutting out foods unnecessarily
- No pressure to lose weight unless you want to
- No one-size-fits-all menopause plans
This is about feeling better, stronger, and more confident, not chasing unrealistic ideals.
