What to expect by working with a diabetes nutritionist?

  1. At the time of your initial consultation, your personal dietitian will do an assessment to find out more about your health history, current eating habits and lifestyle and anything else that may be relevant to help identify the root cause of the issue.
  2. Your nutritionist will then suggest appropriate changes to your diet and lifestyle that are most suitable for you. Our recommendations are always tailored to your specific needs. You will work on a joint plan with your diabetes nutritionist to help you make the
  3. Your practitioner will also calculate your basal metabolism and your nutrient needs to create a bespoke meal plan to give you a structure to follow.
  4. Your personal nutritionist will advise on any specific testing which may be valuable, and create a blood test referral letter for your GP or privately.
  5. A follow-up plan will be created with you, to make sure you get the help and support you need to reach your goals efficiently and permanently.
